Leftists are regular in favor of open borders and diversity.
President Trump has now announced the left to fulfill them this wish.
However they reject this and thus revealed more about themselves than they probably wanted to.
It inevitably raises the question of what the left wants, if they advertise open borders and diversity but reject it as the ultimate consequence.
There are about 200 sanctuary cities in the USA. These are cities that allow people without a permanent residence permit to stay. For this they have different regulations according to which they have reduced the cooperation with the respective state government regarding illegal immigration. This policy is regularly defended by the Democratic Party and criticized by the Republican Party. [1] [2] [3]
The sanctuary city San Francisco has 880,000 inhabitants and approximately 240,000 illegal immigrants. And in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles has about 3,800,000 residents and 925,000 illegal immigrants. Both have major problems with homeless people of whom many are illegal immigrants. About 7,500 in San Francisco and about 50,000 in Los Angeles. [8] [9] [10]
So the idea inherits a certain consistency. Those who wants this migration and this diversity could choose such a region. And those who don't want this migration and this diversity could choose not to join such a region.
However members of the Democratic Party immediately rejected Trump's proposal. Among the destinations was the constituency of the speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D). Her spokeswoman said that the proposal was inhumane, cynical and tasteless. [11] [12] [13] [14]
One must be surprised if those who demand open borders and diversity are in the last consequence afraid. Everyone should ask themselves why the left demands open borders and diversity and who benefits from it.

On April 12, 2019 President Trump proposed to send illegal immigrants to exactly these sanctuary cities. According to Trump the illegal immigrants can simply be sent to the sanctuary cities which are mostly governed by the Democratic Party. But migration causes more people to compete for limited resources such as jobs, housing and social welfare. In the process, the equilibrium price for work is falling, living space is becoming scarcer and therefore more expensive and the costs of social assistance are rising.....The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!
