The Press
According to the German press and the Federal Interior Minister Horst Seehofer (CSU) Germany is one of the safest countries and there is nothing to worry about. Seehofer (CSU) spoke of gratifying numbers and Irene Mihalic (The Green-Party) considers the overall development as pleasing. The unity of the government and the press is even so noticeable that one should ask oneself whether the statements may simply are believable so whether both are not coincidentally doing the same thing. The crime statistics that are referred to here and further is only a preliminary one. For example no distinction is made between "murder" (010000) and "homicide and assisted homicide" (020000). In addition the detailed nationality of the suspects is not yet apparent. Luckily the crime statistics provide an overview of the development of criminal offenses in various areas.- increases (at least + 5.0%) were recorded in:
- Resisting and assaulting the state (+ 39.9 %)
- Dissemination of pornography (+ 13.6 %)
- Offenses under the Medicines Act (+ 8.3 %)
- Total narcotics offenses (+ 6.1 %)
- Criminal offenses against the gun law (+ 5.5 %)
- Declines (at least - 5.0%) were recorded in::

Migrant Crime
About 82 million people live in Germany. Of them approximately 10.6 million or 13 % are non-German citizens. And the publication of the current crime statistics also revolves around crime in the context of immigration. For this purpose the information from the crime statistics are presented below.It should be noted that non-German suspects are those without German citizenship. German suspects are all German citizens. A possible dual citizenship or a migration background is irrelevant. [6]

Migrant Crime from Inquiry
In addition to the crime statistics there is also the answer to a parliamentary inquiry. This again shows the criminality of non-German nationals in the years from 2013 to 2017.1. Wie viele Straftaten wurden nach Kenntnis der Bundesregierung, aufgeschlüsselt nach den einzelnen Bundesländern, in den Jahren 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 und anteilig im Jahr 2018 von Personen mit Migrationshintergrund, Asylbewerbern und Personen mit abgelehnten Asylanträgen begangen?[7,p.3]

NRW
The preliminary crime statistics for 2018 are very similar to those for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for 2018. There was also reported that the crime has fallen overall and that North Rhine-Westphalia is as safe as rarely before.In North Rhine-Westphalia the number of burglaries fell by 23 % and thefts by 9 %. At the same time however the number of murders and homicides increased by 23 % and offenses against sexual self-determination by 9 %. It was also admitted that one third of all suspects in North Rhine-Westphalia were not German nationals, although their share of the population was only 12.8%. High crime rates and that non-German citizens continue to be massively over-represented is the new normal. [8] [9] [10] [11]
