Since his election, the public can be differentiated into believing that US President Donald Trump (R) is acting intelligently and purposefully or that he is simply a stupid idiot.
Trump (R) provoked with a propably intended provocation and made four the MPs Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D), Ayanna Pressley (D), Ilhan Omar (D), Rashida Tlaib (D) and the press dance to his tune.
However with their reaction the four MPs and the press have played Trump (R) into his hands.
In addition the four MPs and the press have shown with their reaction how narcissistic and how little altruistic they really are.
On July 14, 2019 Trump (R) published three related messages on Twitter. In it he lists demands to the so-called progressive members of the Democratic Party. If these come from the US economically or in terms of internal security inferior nations then they should return to these nations and solve the local problems there before they tech lessons or make demands to the US government. Based on his tune he has propably refered to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D), Ayanna Pressley (D), Ilhan Omar (D) and Rashida Tlaib (D). [1] [2] [3]
As a result the press has criticized Trump (R) as expected for his behavior and accused him of racism. The press as it has done in the past has completely neglected current events on its daily routine. Once again he made it to the center of media coverage and was able to determine the public discourse. However it is unlikely that Trump's electorate will be deterred by events so close to his election campaign. The expected damage should therefore be small.
At the same time Trump (R) has also removed the right to asylum in the US for people coming from third countries. As of now all people lose their right to asylum in the United States who came from third countries and can not prove that they have unsuccessfully applied for asylum. Almost all asylum seekers who are currently in the US shelters thus lose any right to asylum. This decision has completely disappeared in the promotion and self-promotion of the Four Members of the Democratic Party. [7] [8] [9]
Such a decision would normally have provided for opposition and resistance. In fact all were concerned with the statements of Trump (R) as well as the promotion and self-promotion of the four MPs of the Democratic Party. Trump (R) was able to deliver to his electorate exactly what he promised without the opposition having worked against it.
But Trump (R) did not just deliver to his electorate what he promised. From the Democratic Party came even the admission that Trump (R) won this game. While the leadership of the party wanted to mitigate the dispute Trump (R) managed to identify the Democratic Party with the four MPs. Thus he solidified the image of the democratic party as out of touch which makes it less effective for them to reach the electorate of Trump (R). [10]
With their reaction the four deputies played Trump (R) on the one hand. In addition the four MPs have shown with their reaction how narcissistic and how little altruistic they are. Regardless of how one determines it to deny people from non-neighboring countries the right to asylum everyone should recognize this strategy. Politicians should not be played so easily.
