Amid Middle East Realignment & Saudi Blockade, Qatar Withdraws from OPEC

Why have the 'Yellow Vest' protests spilled over into Belgium?

As ‘Yellow Vest’ protesters clashed with police on Saturday in cities across France, most notably in its capital, around 1,000 protesters clad in the high visibility vests that have become symbolic of the movement also gathered in Brussels, Belgium. The "gilets jaunes" or "Yellow Vests" movement began in France as a response to a proposed hike on fuel prices. Now it’s turned into a large, amorphous protest movement railing more generally against high taxes and the cost of living. And that, at least, is a notion that can’t be confined to just France. Swedish Centre Party says to vote 'no' to Social Democrat leader Lofven as PM

The Centre Party and the Liberals said last month they were willing to support Lofven if he agreed to lower taxes and free up restrictive labour laws.

I am a journalist, and these questions have been my concern for a long time. So I decided to delve deeper into the Salafist scene. Of course, it was of benefit to me that I myself was a Muslim, even an immigrant - at age 15 I came from Pakistan with the help of smugglers ... As a German, I would hardly have managed to visit undercover more than 150 mosques in Germany and Austria undercover for two years. I listened to what was preached. I talked to imams. I have seen how the brainwashing of Islamists works. ...
